Black Caviar due to touch down in Melbourne Wed, 11 Jul 2012
Champion Australian mare Black Caviar arrives back in Melbourne early today after her successful English raid.
Black Caviar left Hong Kong on the final leg of her flight back from the United Kingdom and was scheduled to arrive at Melbourne Airport just after 4am (AEST).
She won the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Ascot in front of the Queen last month, making it 22 wins from 22 starts.
The Peter Moody-trained mare is being accompanied by her new stablemate, former Italian star Voila Ici, who will be prepared for the Caulfield Cup and Melbourne Cup.
The pair will go from the airport to the Werribee International Horse Centre, where they will spend two weeks in quarantine.
